My Journey as a Product Leader
My career in product management has been a journey fueled by curiosity and adaptability. It began in Sales at The Better Software Company, where I transitioned into Customer Success Management for an all-in-one SaaS platform designed to help small businesses thrive. This foundation in understanding customer needs and business operations set the stage for my leap into product management.
At Ruckify, a rent-anything marketplace, I joined as the first Product Manager with no established processes, no prior experience, and only a vision to bring to life. Driven by determination, I taught myself the fundamentals of product management, implementing A/B testing and building frameworks from scratch. Over time, I grew to lead a globally dispersed team of 40+ developers, along with my core product team of Product Managers, UX Designers, and Analysts. I managed three distinct products—two user-facing and one internal—designed to support marketing and operations, all while overseeing a total budget of $11 million over four years.
In my final year at Ruckify, I transitioned into a product leadership role, defining the product vision, collaborating with investors and C-suite executives on strategy, and leading annual product reviews. As a hiring manager, I built and guided teams across Product, UX, Development, and QA, while making tough decisions when necessary, including providing coaching and handling offboarding. Beyond product management, I formed strategic partnerships and took on responsibilities as Insurance and Policy Manager, crafting user insurance policies underwritten by Northbridge and developing the company’s Terms of Service and Community Standards.
This journey has equipped me with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, align business objectives with user needs, and deliver digital products that drive meaningful value for stakeholders. Each step has reinforced my passion for solving complex challenges and creating solutions that resonate with users.

I’m driven by a deep-seated passion for creativity and a relentless pursuit of impactful solutions. Every product I work on is an opportunity to explore new ideas, tackle complex challenges, and redefine what’s possible. For me, it’s not just about building features—it’s about crafting meaningful experiences that add value to people’s lives and create lasting impact.
I believe the best products strike a balance between user needs, scalability, and business goals. My focus is always on creating solutions that generate value for everyone involved—a true win-win scenario. This philosophy has guided my career, and it continues to inspire me as I take on new challenges in the dynamic world of digital products.
HOW I TACKLE PROBLEMS
My approach to product management is driven by curiosity and a commitment to understanding the core problem. Every project starts with asking the right questions: What do users truly need? How can we not only meet but exceed their expectations? What’s the most effective way to deliver a solution?
From there, I collaborate closely with my team to define a clear vision and actionable strategy, always prioritizing value for all stakeholders. I thrive in environments that foster open dialogue, shared ideas, and collective commitment to creating impactful products. For me, success lies in building solutions that don’t just solve problems but leave a lasting, positive impact.
LEAVING THE LAPTOP BEHIND
Outside of work, I’m just as curious and passionate about the world around me. My "Hard to Beat Moment" would be a long drive into the night with a nonfiction audio book obsessively brainstorming how to implement new lessons into my day-to-day.
